Perpetual Hebrew Calendar (Carved and Laser Engraved)
New: Personalization on the back of the calendar is available!
This one-of-a-kind Hebrew calendar lets you easily keep track of the Biblical date, days of the week, and months. It will accommodate almost any lunisolar Hebrew calendar methodology, including the Jewish calendar, sighted moon, conjunction, etc. Just move the chrome steel ball to the new month when the new moon (month) begins and start the gear on day one with the correct day of the week. Then simply rotate the gear one place each day. The gear has a number for each of the first six days of the week and an “S” for the 7th day Shabbat (Sabbath). Now you will always know the correct Hebrew month, date, and day of the week.
There is a “13th” month for the calendars that use an “intercalary month“ to adjust for the differences in the lunar and solar cycles. Please note: there are many different Biblical calendar methodologies. This perpetual calendar does not come with instructions on how to keep a particular calendar.
The calendar lists the seven Biblical Mo’edim (Appointed Times), for reference, and includes the month and day listed in scripture when applicable.
The base and day-of-the-week gear/wheel is made out of solid African mahogany. It is finished with three coats of lacquer. All the numbers and letters are laser etched. There are four felt feet on the bottom to keep it slightly raised and to prevent the marring of a table or surface.
The overall dimensions are 12 3/4 inches long, 2 1/2 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches deep.
The price includes shipping.
