About Bezalel Workshop

Bezalel Workshop is a one person woodworking business. That one person is me, James Hall. Woodworking is my passion and what I love to do. It brings me great joy when a customer likes my work.

I took my first woodworking class in high school in the 1980’s, and I still have the projects I made in that class. Since around 2005 I have been steadily woodworking as a hobby and a business. Until 2020 I lived in Colorado and sold my products online and at many craft fairs and events all over the state. I now live in northwest Arkansas.

Some of my products have been shipped all over the world. It is an honor and humbling to know that someone here in the United States, and even across the world, has appreciated one of my woodworks enough to display it in their home.

My favorite things to design and build are custom furniture pieces. My favorite styles are mid-century modern and shaker. I also enjoy the process of designing and building smaller craft and home decor items. For these smaller items I generally go through several iterations of prototypes before I am happy with the design and final product.
