The wood is 1/4 inches thick, stands 8 1/2 inches tall, and is 10 1/4 inches wide at the base. The base is 2 1/4 inches deep.

Included is a brass peg (as shown) to put in the holes for each day of the counting of the Omer.

The 49 days of the counting of the Omer leads to the 50th day, the day of Shavout. Shavuot is the Hebrew name for Feast of Weeks, and Pentecost is the Greek name. Above the English words “Feast of Weeks” is the equivalent written in Hebrew. Below the English words “Counting of the Omer” is the equivalent written in Hebrew.
